Cork Alliance Inc. (“Cork Alliance,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and safeguard personal information obtained in connection with our promotional programs, including Instant Redeemable Coupons (IRCs) and Mail-In Rebates (MIRs), and establishes the limited circumstances under which such information may be used.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the type of promotional program, Cork Alliance may collect the following information:

IRCs (Instant Redeemable Coupons):
We do not collect personally identifiable information. Redemption occurs directly at the point of sale.
MIRs (Mail-In Rebates):
In order to validate and process rebates, Cork Alliance may collect:
- Full name
- Mailing address
- Email address and/or telephone number (if provided by the customer)
- Proof of purchase (such as receipt, UPC, or invoice)
- Banking information, only if expressly required to fulfill an electronic rebate payment

2. Purpose of Data Use

Cork Alliance limits the use of personal information to the following purposes:

Verification and processing of rebate submissions.
Issuance of rebate payments by check, electronic transfer, or other authorized method.
Communication with customers regarding their rebate submissions.
Prevention of fraud, duplicate claims, or invalid submissions.
Compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
Distribution of internal company communications, including product announcements, promotional offers, or marketing materials issued directly by Cork Alliance Inc.

No additional or unrelated uses of personal data shall be undertaken without the customer’s express consent.

3. Disclosure of Information

Cork Alliance does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

Personal information may only be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:

To service providers engaged solely to process rebate submissions on behalf of Cork Alliance, subject to strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.
When disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or governmental request.
To prevent, investigate, or address potential fraud or security concerns.

4. Data Security and Retention

Cork Alliance implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Personal information collected in connection with MIRs is retained only for the period necessary to:

Complete rebate processing;
Send limited internal marketing communications; and
Satisfy applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

5. Children’s Privacy

In compliance with U.S. alcohol beverage regulations, all promotional programs, including IRCs and MIRs, are directed exclusively to individuals 21 years of age or older. Cork Alliance does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 21.

6. Fraud Prevention

Cork Alliance Inc. maintains a policy of zero tolerance toward fraudulent activities related to its promotional programs.

In particular, Cork Alliance reserves the right to:

Reject or invalidate rebate submissions that are deemed false, incomplete, illegible, duplicated, or fraudulent.
Verify the authenticity of information and documentation provided by the customer.
Withhold or cancel promotional benefits if fraud or misuse is suspected.
Report fraudulent activity to the appropriate authorities and pursue all applicable legal remedies.

7. Updates to This Policy

Cork Alliance reserves the right to amend or update this Privacy Policy at any time. The most current version will be published on our official website, and the “Effective Date” will reflect the date of the latest revision.
